Side VT - Round 1 - Mai VS Sonia

The time had come for the first match of the side VT to begin... Although, Jake unfortunately wasn't able to be there to pilot the helicopter... But the copter had auto pilot anyways... The first battle was to be between Mai and Sonia, the two being in the helicopter that flew above the chosen arena... Sonia may have a slight advantage for having won a battle or two, but we mustn't forget that Mai has her duel monsters by her side... Er... In her deck... The chosen arena seemed to be some kind of frozen over plains. Snow covering the ground, the rivers frozen solid... In fact, the two girls were already shivering! "I-It's s-so c-cold..." Sonia said, teeth chattering... "Y-You s-shouldn't b-be c-cold! Y-You have f-fur!" Mai said, strapping her duel disk onto her wrist... "W-Well... A-All the more r-reason t-to finish this q-quick!" Sonia said. "I-I'll LOVE swallowing a b-brat l-like you... I-It's just a shame I didn't get to in season one." Mai said with a smirk. And as autopilot activated a special button, the two girls were warpped down to the arena...

Sonia found herself appearing in one of very few spots not covered in snow, beneath a small tree... Though, she smiles, reaching into one of her pockets... She pulls out what seemed to be car keys of somekind... And as she presses a button on them, she simply waited... After a few moments, the sound of a loud vehicle could be heard, coming up to Sonia. "F-Finally!" Sonia said as she saw her motorcycle approaching! The motorcycle drove up, parking right in front of Sonia... With a smile on her face, Sonia hopped onto her motorcycle, inserting the keys... "I am SO glad I got that seat warmer installed..." Sonia said to herself as she began to drive off, in search for Mai...

As for Mai, she found herself appearing on a frozen lake... "W-Well of all the lousy places to-" Mai said before xalming herself, not wanting to accidentally stomp through the glass... "But no worries. It's an easy fix." Mai said, drawing a card... And as she did, she played the card onto her duel disk... "I summon the Harpie Lady! In attack mode!" Mai said... Her duel disk glowed slightly as the harpy appeared right in front of her. "Now then my harpy, fly me off of this lake!" Mai ordered her winged-beast... The harpy nods, grinning slightly... She took off into the air, grabbing up Mai up in her talons before simply landing once they were off of the ice lake... "Now then... Onto the more important stuff..." Mai says, drawing another card... "Elegant Egotist!" Mai said as she played the magic card! And with a bright green glow, her harpy soon tripled in numbers! Mai smirks as she saw this. "Now then my harpies! I have a job for the three of you!" Mai said as she played two more magic cards... One of the harpies became equiped with the Cyber Shield, and another with the rose whip... "Now then! Go get me that stupid pink hedgehog you two!" Mai said... The two nod, taking off... The third stayed, awaiting orders... "As for you..." Mai blushed slightly "I-It's cold... Warm me with your feathers..."... The harpy nods... It walked over to it's master, wrapping it's feathery wings around her gently...

Sonia continued to speed throughout the icy plains on her motorcycle, still in search for the duelist she intended to devour... Though, little did she know that she was being followed by the two harpies that Mai sent after her! It wasn't exactly hard to find Sonia... From the skies, pink really stands out against a world of white... The harpy wielding the thorny whip smirks... She aims at Sonia, and cracks her whip! As she did the whip began to extend, growing towards Sonia at high speeds.... And though the thorny whip missed Sonia herself, Sonia heard a loud POP! The whip had struck the tires of her motorcycle! The harpy chuckled a bit as the whip returned to it's original length... "EEP!" Sonia screamed as her motorcycle began to wobble out of control before falling over!

As her motorcycle toppled over, she ended up slightly sliding across the snow covered ground, teeth instantly starting to chatter as she got some dirt and dead grass in her hair and fur... For a moment, her eyes gained cartoonish swirls... Though, it didn't take her long to quickly raise to her feet with a growl, glaring up at the harpies... The two winged-beasts couldn't help but chuckle at the funny sounds of Sonia's growl mixed with her chattering teeth...

"SHUT UP!" Sonia yelled at the two, touching two fingers to her medallion... Her medallion glowed a slightly dark shade of pink... And in a flash of light, Sonia's keyboard blaster appeared in her hands... Sonia took aim faster than the harpies could react, and played a high note, sending a pink laser out of the barrel of her blaster! The blast struck the harpy that held the rose whip... And as soon as it made contact, the monster gained a face of pure pain... And then shattered... The harpy equiped with Cyber Shield wore an expression of shock... Though, she then hissed at Sonia, diving right at her! Sonia, reacting quickly, fired the blaster again, destroying the second Harpie Lady just as easily. Sonia smirked to herself, twirling her blaster on her finger before blowing on the barrel. "Now then, to find Mai... And unfortunately without my bike..." Sonia said to herself, starting to run across the icy landscape...

Mai was sat underneath a large tree, trying to get warmer, her third Harpy still with her feathery wings wrapped around Mai... Mai was of course away that her harpies had been destroyed... She was the that summoned them after all... And Mai was also aware that Sonia would be arriving soon... Though, she only smirks... "A minor setback... But she has no idea what she's in for..." Mai smirked... She drew three cards from her deck... And she played one card face down... "I guess it's pretty lucky I found these two cards outside my door..." Mai chuckled a bit as she looked at the two cards she still held in her hand... Her loyal harpy rested it's head on Mai's shoulder to warm her further... However, it wasn't long before the two heard footsteps coming closer and closer... The harpy stood, getting into a battle stance... "Relax." Mai said, standing... The running form of Sonia was just now coming into view, the pink hedgehog still holding her keyboard blaster... Mai smirked, letting Sonia get closer... "It's about time the beauty brat showed up. Ready to lose?" Mai said with a smirk. "Cute..." Sonia chuckled sarcastically, aiming her blaster. Mai only grinned as she looked down the barrel of the blaster, showing no sign of fear... Sonia then played yet another high note, the pink blast launching at Mai. Mai smirked, flipping her face down card over... "MIRROR FORCE!" Mai exclaims... And suddenly, an odd barrier formed around Mai...

The blast that was sent at Mai slammed into the barrier... But it didn't explode or anything like that... The barrier seemed to be holding the pink laser in place... But it was growing larger! Sonia's eyes widen slightly.. The barrier surrounding Mai then seemed to be absorbed by Sonia's attack... But then... The now much larger attack was sent right back at Sonia! Sonia screamed, seeing her own attack quickly approaching... And before she could dodge, the blast struck her, exploding on contact... Sonia was sent to the ground, several feet away... She was clearly very injured, even having several bruises and slight burns now... "Now then, let's finish this quick. I want to head home and have a hot chocolate." Mai said, playing one of the two cards she held... "TOON WORLD!" She called out... And suddenly, a gigantic green pop up book showed up out of nowhere, turning the environment around them into a very cartoonish version of itself... However, Mai's harpy was destroyed in the process... "And next..." Mai said, playing the other card she held "TOON DARK MAGICIAN GIRL!"... The giant pop-up book glowed slightly, and a very cartoonish sorceress soon jumped out. "Hi hi!" Toon Dark Magician Girl waved with a giggle. "Now then sweetie, be a dear and shrink thst brat down for me." Mai said... The toon nodded, waving her staff in Sonia's direction... And as she did, the pink hedgehog shrunk down to only a few inches, shrinking right out of her clothes!

Sonia groans from the ever intensifying cold around her as she shrunk put of the very clothing she wore... Mai smirked, hands on her hips as she walked over, plucking up Sonia off of the ground. Mai tilted her head back, holding Sonia dangling above her mouth,  few strands of saliva hanging from the roof of her maw... Sonia cringed slightly as she looked down into Mai's throat, knowing escape was impossible... Mai let go, dropping Sonia into her awaiting maw, closing her lips behind her...

"Mmm..." Mai moaned at the surprising taste... She began to lick the bite sized hedgehog over, allowing her tongue to explore every inch of her deliciously flavorful form... Sonia didn't struggle at all... In fact, she held herself to Mai's tongue, actually finding the warmth comforting... With a smirk, Mai took a large gulp, sending Sonia down her throat... She traced the small lump down with a finger, giggling... And soon, Sonia landed into her belly with a slight plop... Toon Dark Magician Girl giggled as well,snapping her fingers, returning Sonia to her original size! And as this happened, Mai's gut expanded out several feet! "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPP!" Mai let loose a massive belch, winning her first battle...
